Hahnenmoos’ model aircraft school was established in the early ‘70s by Christian Ruch.

One of the original directors, Bruno Meuwly, is still involved today.

Many experienced pilots visit the school every year and share their extensive knowledge and experiences with the participants.

We have a well-equipped workshop area in which you can build, repair, make improvements, or chat to other enthusiasts.

Over the years, the model aircraft school has transformed into a model aircraft camp due to popular demand. Theory and training now take a back seat in favour of meeting like-minded people and exchanging invaluable experiences. Having said this, the week-long camps are very well organised. We take care of the frequencies, workshop area, tools, and during the summer-camps we offer support with flying or repairs.

Relatives are welcome. A magnificent hiking area, local cycle tracks and bike hire, as well as a children’s play area right next to the hotel, should keep everyone entertained. The villages of Adelboden and Lenk, offering a further array of opportunities, can be reached by gondola and bus in around 35 mins.
