Arrival Adelboden

…with free parking at Geils and Silleren gondola stations

Arrival by car: Follow the motorway from Bern to Spiez, take the main road from Spiez to Frutigen and on to Adelboden. Parking is available at Silleren and Geils gondola stations. You will require a permit to drive your vehicle along the Adelboden - Geils road. In winter, permits can be requested by phone (Tel: +41 (0)33 673 82 10) or collected from the local authority (closed Saturday & Sunday).

During the summer months, permits can be obtained from a ticket machine at the Hotel des Alpes, Gilbach, approx. 2km out of Adelboden, heading towards Geils. The final stretch of the journey is by gondola from Geils.

Arrival by public transport: Take the train as far as Frutigen and then the bus from Frutigen to Adelboden. In winter, take the gondola from Silleren bottom station to Bergläger, the bus from Bergläger to Geils, and finally, the gondola from Geils to Hahnenmoos.

A bus runs between Adelboden bus station and Geils throughout the summer.
